In 1996, I designed and built my first electric guitar, the original Model 96. I had some help and support from Birmingham luthier John Diggins (Jaydee) who pointed me in the right direction, particularly in respect to the right quality of timbers and hardware, the original having a maple top and back with a mahogany core and a 70's DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge position.

As the years passed, others were built and the original 96 became part of my personal collection.

At the beginning of 2021 I decided to resurrect the 96 plans, revise them and build limited quantities for sale employing the same standards I used on the original but utilizing more modern techniques. All my instruments are hand crafted, there are no CNC routes or cuts, no automated machining, just me and some tools, mostly ones used by hand.

Being based in the rural end of Derbyshire the countryside around me allows my creative juices to flow, and if that doesn't work my choice of questionable music always helps!
